Breast implant removal is performed under general anesthesia by a specialist plastic surgeon. During the procedure, your surgeon will:
Remove implants.
Excise or manage scar tissue (capsulectomy) if needed.
Reshape the remaining breast tissue for a natural contour.
Combine with a breast lift (mastopexy) if the breasts have sagged.
Swelling and discomfort are common for the first few days.
Return to light activities usually within 1–2 weeks.
Full recovery and final breast shape may take 1-2 months.

Ussually recovery is very fast. Most patients experience only mild or no discomfort for a few days. Light activities can usually resume within 1–2 weeks, with final results visible after 1-2 months / 3–6 months.
Yes. Implant removal does not prevent you from having breast implants again in the future. Your surgeon will assess your breast tissue and skin to recommend the best implant type and size if you decide to undergo augmentation later.
Yes. Once implants are removed, your breasts will return to their natural tissue volume. The degree of size reduction depends on your original breast tissue and skin elasticity. In some cases, a breast lift or fat transfer can help restore volume and shape.
